Copt Heath Golf Club Solihull
Copt Heath Golf Club Solihull is a challenging golf course that requires strategic thinking as well as power and finesse. The holes maintain its reputation for full green play year-round, due to its sandy subsoil with good drainage and irrigation system throughout the entire 18 hole layout.
Many original features from Harry Colt’s design can still be seen today such as prominent bunkers or subtle greens- all stitched together by deep natural ditches which create fantastic hazards off each tee box!
The opening is tough with the first six holes requiring either length or accuracy to ensure a solid start to your round. From the 7th tee onwards, things get more manageable and players have an opportunity for success as Copt Heath becomes friendlier towards them in 2018 – voted 99 on National Club Golfer’s list of top 100 courses!
“Greens are true and often slick”, said Today’s Golfer Magazine back in November 2013 when they named us one of their favourite 18-hole golf course destinations after visiting this picturesque spot near London UK. We were also praised by ‘Today Golf World’ who wrote: “Copt Heath has elegant architecture…great scenery.” If you’re looking forward to playing some link style
