Solihull Ice rink is called Planet Ice and is located on hobs moat road in Solihull. Planet Ice Solihull is one of the midland’s best ice skating venues with amazing activities and classes for all ages and abilities.
Planet Ice Solihull is open 7 days a week including bank holidays and is home for all forms of ice disciplines including general public skating, figure skating, ice dancing, speed skating and ice hockey.

Home to Solihull Barons Ice Hockey Team
The Solihull Barons play in the English National Ice Hockey league’s Moralee Division.
In 2015/16 the newly promoted Barons finished third in the Moralee, making it to the play-offs and only losing out in the final.
The team play out of Planet Ice Solihull with the season running from the first weekend of September until early April, with most Barons home games being played on Sunday evenings.
